ProdexNet announced today that it has closed
its first US State Government Customer. They will be deploying
NetGather in an extensive implementation of Enterprise Network
and System Management applications . NetGather will be used
to integrate data from various management applications including
HP OpenView Network Node Manager, HP OpenView Operations and
HP ServiceDesk to generate Service Level Reports for the State
Government’s various internal departmental customers.
NetGather - integrates, analyzes, correlates
and provides interactive or batch mode reports on the availability,
performance and levels of service of IT infrastructure elements
including network hardware like servers, routers, hubs, switches;
servers and applications including databases like Oracle and
SQL Server and business applications.
“We are very excited to be working with
our customer to solve a very real problem they have where
they need quick visibility into the end-to-end levels of service
they provide to their internal customers”, said Sujatha
Bodapati, President of ProdexNet. “We are able to correlate
data related to networks, systems and applications with that
of the helpdesk, to provide comprehensive end-to-end business-centric
reports reports that the customer was not able to do earlier.
This allows them to quantify and measure the value of the
IT services they provide in terms of the business”.
